This project has emerged from the collective will
of the oncology community in the UK. It was activated
in just 100 hours as part of the UK COVID-19 emergency
response on 26th March. It is a testament to the
strength and resilience of the UK NHS, excellence
of our oncology networks (RCR, ACP, NOTCH, UK chemo board),
academic institutions (Birmingham, Oxford, Leeds, UCL, KCL, Edinburgh)
and patient networks (Macmillan and CRUK).
Our objective is to identify and learn from every case of COVID-19
in cancer patients in the UK through our 86 joined-up cancer centres.
